What can i do about a farmer out to get me when im on my horse!?

i was riding down a lane just past my stables and a tracter had to stop and give way to me my horse for some reason didnt want to walk past shes normally fine with any trafic. so i gave the signol for the farmer to turn the engine of he oviously didnt understand so i tryed another signol. the farmer took this as me swearing at him. and started moveing his tractor towards me so i had to let my horse get away with not moving and go home. i was only walking and this tractor came up behind me and started to rev his engine i couldnt beleive it luckly my horse didnt seem that bothered i just think he was stupid to do that . if my horse had spooked and ran off it could have ended in a mess. i dont want to hack out anymore in the fear i might bump into him again. can i do anything about this farmer i dont no is name or anything i just no what farm he works on please help!
